Well it's true what they say about Lexus. They are luxurious, high performing vehicles. The Lexus I own was purchased used from the original owner about 12 years ago and it had 145,000 miles on it at the time. That car is the most luxurious car I've ever driven. Even more so than the Saab or Audi. That's not to say I would chose it over the Audi from a performance perspective, but it definitely is the most comfortable and quite riding car I've ever experienced. The responsiveness is so amazing that it's almost too good. The steering is extremely sensitive and one has to actually train themselves to get used to it. It rides down the highway with amazing smoothness. I always said my Audi 90 drove like silk, and it did, but the Lexus is even different from that. In fact, it's hard to find a word that explains the Lexus. All I can say it that everyone should experience the comfortable and smooth ride that Lexus offers. It will raise the bar for every future car purchase you will make. The Lexus rides low to the ground and holds the road extremely well. However, it is not my preferred vehicle in ice and snow conditions. While this vehicle would be perfect in the south, I have to admit I have had a few scares driving my Lexus on snow packed roads. A few times, I had very narrow escapes that would have resulted in accidents if there had been any on-coming traffic…whew!

For long trips on the highway, this would be my car of choice. For off road trips in the woods, FORGET IT! Just call the wrecker ahead of time because you will be stuck soon. My Audi A6 is far better for off roading and it does pretty well on the highway too!

The Lexus is a head turner. People like looking at Lexus's on the road. They must be highly regarded. I never knew much about them until I owned one. I didn't just decide I wanted a Lexus and started out looking for one, I only bought it because my grandma's neighbor had it for sale and I got a great deal on it. My Lexux is now for sale. It has been stored for a few years in my friend's garage. We drive it every few months to keep it running well, but since I have my Audi wagon and my Toyota van, I just don't need the Lexus any longer.
